Casting Design & Methoding:

    • Design and develop efficient methoding systems for casting processes, including gating, risering, and feeding systems, to achieve defect-free castings.
    • Ensure optimal yield and cost efficiency while maintaining casting quality and dimensional accuracy.
    • Utilize simulation software (e.g., MAGMASOFT, ) for method validation and optimization.
    • Production Planning:
      • Collaborate with the design and production teams to understand product requirements and translate them into effective casting methods.
      • Develop production-ready methoding drawings and documents, including detailed layouts for moulds and cores.
      • Process Improvement:
        • Identify and implement improvements in methoding processes to enhance productivity, reduce material wastage, and minimize rejection rates.
        • Keep updated with the latest developments in casting technology and methoding best practices.

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Operate and control Electric Arc Furnace equipment to melt and refine metals and alloys according to production requirements.
  2. Monitor and adjust furnace parameters, such as voltage, current, electrode position, and feed rates, to maintain optimal melting conditions
  3. Load materials, such as scrap metal, alloying elements, and fluxes, into the electric arc furnace using appropriate charging methods and equipment.
  4. Prepare materials by sorting, cleaning, and ensuring proper proportions to achieve desired material properties.
  5. Monitor the melting process using visual observations, temperature readings, and computerized control systems to ensure uniform Melting and refining.

Responsibilities ;-  We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as Head of Machine Shop. This position requires expertise in both CNC and conventional machining, as well as strong leadership and management skills. As the Head of Machine Shop, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our machine shop, ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and lead a team of machinists, ensuring that all operations are carried out safely and efficiently.
  2. Plan and schedule production activities, ensuring that deadlines are met and customer requirements are fulfilled.
  3. Monitor and maintain the performance of CNC and conventional machines, ensuring optimal functionality and minimal downtime.
  4. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all machine shop activities, ensuring consistency and quality.
  5. Collaborate with the engineering team to review and interpret technical drawings, ensuring accurate production specifications.
  6. Evaluate and optimize machining processes, continuously seeking improvements in efficiency and productivity.
  7. Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure that all finished products meet the required specifications.
  8. Train and mentor machinists, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  9. Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure an adequate supply of materials and tools for production.
  10. Must be experienced in heavy plano miller machines.
