Responsible for all Methoding & pattern work , tooling & scheduling.
New product develops and monitors pattern evaluate scrap and implement corrective change to the process and /or equipment
Attend daily rejection & production meeting to assure that pattern engineering are completed in a timely manner to maintain scheduled due-date for the foundry production needs.
Work with outside pattern shop for the development and repair of tooling
Create and maintain hard routings, product structure , product no. of foundry castings.

Recommend and enforce regulations that will ensure the safety of the employee.

Methoding Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Casting Design & Methoding:

- Design and develop efficient methoding systems for casting processes, including gating, risering, and feeding systems, to achieve defect-free castings.
- Ensure optimal yield and cost efficiency while maintaining casting quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Utilize simulation software (e.g., MAGMASOFT, ) for method validation and optimization.
- Production Planning:
  - Collaborate with the design and production teams to understand product requirements and translate them into effective casting methods.
  - Develop production-ready methoding drawings and documents, including detailed layouts for moulds and cores.
  - Process Improvement:
    - Identify and implement improvements in methoding processes to enhance productivity, reduce material wastage, and minimize rejection rates.
    - Keep updated with the latest developments in casting technology and methoding best practices.

Plan and schedule production activities, ensuring that deadlines are met and customer requirements are fulfilled.
